The Broad is a modern workspace and social club for women in Richmond, Virginia. Built specifically with women’s needs in mind, everything inside The Broad was created and designed by women from the bathroom wallpaper, to the interior design to the books in the library to the art hanging on the walls…all the way to the logo and brand identity. The airy loft in Richmond’s historic Arts District is feminine but professional and serves as a place in the community for women to connect over a cup of coffee, join a book club, take part in workshops, enjoy a glass of wine, attend panel discussions, take a yoga class and so much more.

Inspired by the nationwide women’s movement, I partnered with another local female design studio [A Rubin Design] to promote the spirit of women helping women and community over competition. Since then, I have worked with the founder to create additional pieces like key tags, coasters, business cards and signage!
